Build-a-Bear Workshop

Where Best Friends are Made!

We took Kayla to Build-a-Bear Workshop for her birthday. To say that she was excited is a huge understatment. It took her all of 30 seconds to decide what she wanted - a pink unicorn. I wanted her to take her time and look at all the animals so that she could make an informed decision (like I do!) but she was dead-set on the pink unicorn from the moment she saw it. The process was so much faster than I remembered it to be. She picked out her animal, helped fluff her, picked out a heart, made a wish on the heart, and had a named picked out in less than 10 minutes. It took me at least 10 minutes on the computer just trying to register the animal and print out a birth certificate.

Kayla proudly presents...Princess, the pink unicorn!

Ashlyn was afraid of the fluff machine because it was so loud. She chose a monkey and we named him SeeDo - as in Monkey SEE, Monkey Do. (That was Daddy's suggestion.) It is really cute the way Ashlyn says SeeDo because she sticks out her tongue and wiggles it in the middle of the name. Very funny!

Kayla, always the big helper, was more than willing to help Ashlyn fluff her monkey. She was a pro on the fluff machine pedal. Put the pedal to the metal, baby...or wood floor...either way, she was working it!

Poor Emily. Nothing for her. She was just along for the ride as usual. Good thing she is such a good sport about it. And a cute sport as well!

Oh my goodness! They are adorable. It looks like you had the whole place to yourself, which might explain why it went so quick. Way to Go Kayla on the fluffing machine...that one intimidates me.
